Campus crowd turns out to welcome Giants
The UIndy community had been quite discreet in recent weeks, honoring the NFL’s request not to congregate around the Athletics & Recreation Center as first the Super Bowl halftime producers and then the New York Giants prepared for the big show this Sunday. But when word came today that it was OK to publicize the Giants’ practice schedule on campus, students, staff and faculty turned out in droves to great the team’s police-escorted bus caravan on arrival.
