Series: Year ends well for student, president
The national United Methodist News Service has published the final installment of its series detailing the first year on campus for UIndy freshman Andy Wegg and President Robert Manuel.
For Wegg, the whirlwind year at UIndy included service work, a starring role in “Little Shop of Horrors,” making tons of friends and planning to start an a cappella vocal group on campus. Highlights for Dr. Manuel included the Vision 2030 strategic planning process, the establishment of the Richard G. Lugar Academy and his own inauguration as UIndy’s ninth president.
The stories have been written by Joey Butler, editor of young adult content for United Methodist Communications. Read his final dispatch — headlined “Future bright for college president, student” — here.
