The latest issue of NUVO Newsweekly features a Q&A with celebrated choreographer Twyla Tharp, who visits UIndy next Wednesday to discuss “The Creative Habit.” [2]

In the piece, arts editor Scott Shoger talks with Tharp about her Hoosier childhood, her career and her pending 50th anniversary tour. Read the interview here [3].

Elsewhere, the Indianapolis Star has listed Tharp’s UIndy appearance among its “20 most fascinating people visiting Indiana this spring” [4] and its “20 best things to do in Indy in March.” [5]

Some tickets still remain for the lecture, which is presented by UIndy’s Sutphin Lecture Series and begins at 7 p.m. March 18 in the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center’s Ruth Lilly Performance Hall. Tickets are $10, available through UIndy’s Event Ticketing Center, www.uindy.edu/etc [6]. Seating is general admission, and doors will open at 6 p.m.
