Payroll Manager Patty Barnes earns her CPP

Patty Barnes, Payroll Manager, earned her Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), a credential for those with extensive payroll knowledge and experience.  In doing so, she has become the first UIndy Payroll Manager to achieve this designation.

The certification, sponsored by the American Payroll Association, is awarded to individuals who pass the CPP examination, a rigorous 4-hour, 190-question exam that measures the skills essential for effectively managing company payrolls.  The exam gauges a candidate’s knowledge of payroll production, reporting, accounting, systems, and taxation.

Patty’s achievement highlights her commitment to providing UIndy the highest professional standard of care.
