University of Indianapolis President Dr. Tanuja Singh is among those named to IBJ Media’s fourth annual Indiana 250, a list of the state’s most influential business and community leaders from a wide range of sectors, including both public and private organizations.

“I am honored to be included among some of the brightest minds and most respected leaders across Indiana,” said Singh. “This recognition is a reflection of the important work happening at the University of Indianapolis as we bring UIndy’s mission to life—relevant and innovative education that focuses on lifelong learning, enriches learners’ lives with purpose and empowers them with skills that prepare them for the real world. Together we’re building a stronger, more vibrant future for our campus, our city and our state.”

Singh is one of more than 60 new names featured on this year’s list. IBJ Media CEO Nate Feltman said the team that chooses the Indiana 250 is always looking for leaders who are making an impact today.

“Every year, we see fresh faces stepping up and driving meaningful change across Indiana,” Feltman said. “The Indiana 250 is a snapshot of those bold thinkers and doers who are shaping the future of our state—from innovative entrepreneurs to dedicated community advocates. It’s truly inspiring to witness the depth of talent and passion making Indiana a great place to live and work.”

The entire list, available at Indiana250.com, was compiled by executives, editors and newsroom staff from IBJ Media’s three news brands — Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business and The Indiana Lawyer — following a months-long process of reviewing nominations, researching Indiana organizations and consulting community leaders across the state. Elected officials are not eligible for the list.

The Indiana 250 will be celebrated at an exclusive reception at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. IBJ Media published profiles of the honorees in a magazine that will be distributed with the July 25 issue of the IBJ.
