WISH-TV: UIndy’s new wellness center equips students with stress management tools
WISH-TV reports that the University of Indianapolis has opened a new wellness center designed to help students manage stress and build emotional resilience. The center offers resources such as mindfulness workshops, relaxation techniques and one-on-one counseling, in addition to patented lava beds and physiological biofeedback equipment. Dr. Kelly Miller, a psychologist and director of the Student Counseling Center, emphasized that the center not only helps students manage stress during their college years but also equips them with tools to maintain mental well-being long after graduation.
