Dr. Isabel Mills, program director of sport management, received the Biz Connector award from the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA) and was inducted into the 2026 COSMA Hall of Fame.

COSMA is an accrediting commission whose goal is to promote and highlight excellence in sport management education at the collegiate and university level. The commission’s annual Biz Connector Award goes to a sport management educator who excels at connecting their students to partnerships within the sport industry.

Dr. Mills feels thankful for the support of the students, faculty, and staff in the University of Indianapolis Sport Management Program and their partners in the sport industry, including Special Olympics Indiana, the Horizon League, the NCAA, Beyond Monumental Marathon, and a recent institution-wide partnership with Indiana Sports Corp.

“I’m grateful to have inherited a program with such a strong reputation, and I take great pride in building on that foundation by strengthening industry connections and continuing to move the program forward,” said Dr. Mills. “Thank you to our outstanding students, supportive colleagues, and industry partners who make this work meaningful every day. This recognition reflects the collective effort of an incredible community.”
