Recent graduate training for shot at NFL
Former Greyhound football standout Reece Horn is getting attention for his rigorous training regimen as he pursues his dream of an NFL career.
Horn, who graduated in December with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration, is working out daily at St. Vincent Sports Performance and hoping for a tryout later this year — “the job interview of my life,” as he told Indianapolis Star columnist Gregg Doyel.
As a receiver for the Greyhounds, Horn set new UIndy single-season and career records for receptions and receiving yards. He also set state records while at Cathedral High School. Last summer, he had a marketing internship with the Indianapolis Colts.
Check out the coverage from the Indy Star and WXIN-Fox59, which also interviewed UIndy alumnus Ralph Reiff ’80, executive director of St. Vincent Sports Performance.
