Stephen Kolison contributes to textbook on higher education administration

University of Indianapolis Executive Vice President and Provost Stephen Kolison is a primary contributor to “A President’s Perspective,” a new digital textbook on higher education administration. The textbook from Dr. Jay Gogue, president of Auburn University, addresses the fundamental areas of university administration in a flexible digital format.

“Dr. Kolison’s insights are a great asset to this digital text,” Gogue said. “His  real-world experiences add depth and perspective that go beyond the usual classroom lecture. Students will find great value in Dr. Kolison’s contributions.”

In addition to Gogue’s observations drawn from his long career in administration, each chapter of the textbook includes video commentary from veteran administrators Gretchen Bataille and Robert Moulton, who served as consultants for the project. Additional video commentary from Kolison and other high-level administrators at institutions across the country appears throughout the text.

“A President’s Perspective,” developed by Auburn’s Media Production Group, is being distributed by XanEdu Publishing and is available for classroom use this fall.
