Heidi Ewen talks on Georgia public radio about aging in place
Heidi Ewen, director of the Master of Science in Healthcare Management program, was a recent guest on Georgia Public Radio’s “On Second Thought” program.
Ewen discussed aging in place, a concept where older adults wish to live in their own homes for the duration of their lives.
“You are aging in place, until you’re not,” Ewen said. She said older adults choose to age in place for social, financial, and even sentimental reasons and those who do move will thrive if they have a say in the process.
