Ewen publishes on stress of older adults relocating

Dr. Heidi Ewen, associate professor in the department of Interprofessional Health and Aging
and Studies, recently published an article in SAGE Research Methods Cases: Medicine and
Health titled “Assessing stress in relocation using biopsychosocial mixed methods.” The study
examined the stress experienced during the transition from one’s own home into an
independent/assisted senior housing community among older women, using both quantitative
and qualitative methods.
