Harleen Athwal ’15 wins research award
Harleen Athwal ’15 (chemistry and biology) recently won the American Association of Dental Research’s SCADA (student competition for advancing dental research and its application) award and her research was recognized as the best Basic Sciences poster presentation in the Ph.D. student, post-doc, and faculty category. Athwal’s work focused on the regeneration and repair of salivary glands. She will present her research at the 50th annual meeting and exhibition of the AADR in Boston, Massachusetts in March 2021.
