UIndy HR Welcomes Two New Employees

Alexis Holland

Alexis OB Holland joined UIndy as an Employment Specialist in November.  In her role, she will be providing the first customer experience for prospective employees of UIndy, overseeing the recruitment process, providing applicant data for UIndy’s affirmative action plan, and working with the University’s immigration attorneys to assist faculty members in obtaining visa sponsorship for employment.

Alexis completed her B.S. in Business Administration at Indiana State University and her Master of Management/Human Resource Concentration from the University of Phoenix. She comes to us from INARF, where she served as the Member Services Coordinator within the Member Services team. She is excited to join the UIndy team and to start her career as a Human Resources professional.

In her spare time, you will find Alexis spending time with her two daughters, doing community service projects with her Sorority sisters (Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.), or thrifting.

Chris Lucid

Chris Lucid has joined UIndy as a Benefits Specialist

She has a BA in economics from IUPUI with a business minor from the Kelley School of Business. Her professional background began as Program Manager for Indy’s Campaign for Financial Fitness.

She is excited to bring experience as a human resource supervisor and licensed brokerage associate to her new role. Her goal is to connect employees, UIndy’s greatest asset, to benefits through sincerity and support.

Christine is a native Hoosier and active member of St. Roch Catholic Church. Her husband, Stephen, is a UIndy alum and envious of her opportunity to enjoy the campus. She enjoys classic movies, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family. 

Fun Facts: Her cat plays fetch and she’s been attacked by a real buffalo!
