Assistant Professor of Physics and Earth-Space Sciences Dr. Sarah Reynolds wrote and published a chapter of Women in History at Indiana University: 150 Years of Experiences and Contributions, the first in-depth look at how women shaped the history and legacy of Indiana University.
Dr. Reynolds’ chapter, “Early Scientific Women of Indiana University and Their Impact,” explores the history of the early women involved in science at Indiana University and provides a glimpse into the early ways that women engaged in science. The chapter also explains the science education opportunities available to women at the time in Indiana.
