UIndy School of Business Recognizes Outstanding Business Alumni
The University of Indianapolis School of Business honored five alumni who have excelled in the business field at this year’s Outstanding Business Alumni Award Celebration.
Rebecca Fromm Quintana ‘98

Rebecca Fromm Quintana served as Principal at Somerset CPAs where she is now the Managing Director for CBIZ. She is a CPA and has been in public accounting since 1998. In working with national and local accounting firms, Fromm Quintana gained extensive experience in auditing for-profit, medium-to-large, public, and privately-held companies. Her specific experience includes performing and reviewing financial statement audits, understanding and documenting a wide variety of accounting information systems, analyzing and designing internal control systems to include both preventative and detective controls, and financial and SEC reporting.
Fromm Quintana has also consulted on initial debt offerings. Among the many industries she serves, she has in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, transportation, software, service, and casinos, focusing on Japanese-owned businesses.
Timothy Harris II ‘02

Timothy Harris II is the International Director at Harris & Ford, LLC, a major distributor of chemicals, ingredients, and related products serving food, personal care, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, water treatment and industrial customers.
Harris holds a Doctorate in Counseling, a Master’s in Multimedia, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Composition, and Music. His college years were a whirlwind of hard work and dedication as he balanced multiple roles—working as a janitor at his father’s company, Harris & Ford; interning at Aire Born Studio; and serving as a counselor for at-risk youth and music director at church.
In addition to his expertise in supply chain management at Harris & Ford, Harris is the founder of several related ventures, including an export-import company, All Points Global, and H&F Logistics. His professional specialties include International Business, Logistics, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Sourcing.
Beyond the business world, Harris is a published author. He has written and self-published a self-titled Study Bible and has completed additional works. His dedication to leadership and service extends far beyond his professional responsibilities—he has served on the University of Indianapolis Alumni Board of Directors and the National Business Advisory Council. He currently sits on the board of Goodwill.
Harris’s honors and accolades include, but are not limited to, the Congressional Black Caucus Emerging Leader Award, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, and the Sid Tuchman Award from the University of Indianapolis School of Business.
In his spare time, Harris wears many hats, serving as a licensed real estate agent, Indiana Chaplain, musician, business consultant, and writer.
Jeffery Mitchell ‘91

Jeffery Mitchell is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at IGEL Technology. IGEL is a leading innovator of software for cloud workspaces, and provides a secure endpoint operating system for enterprises.
Known for his strong combination of strategic vision and operational excellence, Mitchell has driven growth, innovation, and strategic partnerships in areas such as Mobile Device Management, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and Digital Employee Experience. Additionally, Mitchell holds extensive experience in leading high-performing teams and driving global growth.
Before joining IGEL, Mitchell held CRO roles at Aisera (I-zera) and Nexthink. He has also served as a senior vice president at VMware, where he led its rapid expansion into End-User Computing and drove sales at AirWatch, which was later acquired by VMware. His achievements include scaling revenue beyond $1 billion and forming partnerships with HP, Lenovo, and key global system integrators.
Debra Ross ‘85 ‘87

Prior to retiring in June 2024, Debra Ross was the Executive Vice President & CFO for The National Bank of Indianapolis for 31 years. She was an original employee when the Bank was formed in 1993.
She helped implement many effective strategies in accounting, finance, human resources, security, wire transfer, product operations, electronic banking, and risk management.
Additionally, Ross was instrumental in establishing accounting and financial policies that resulted in successful audits and regulatory filings. She was responsible for financial and regulatory reporting, asset liability management, investment portfolio, financial risk management, mortgage hedging, and facilities management.
Jeff Whorley Jr. ‘01

Jeff Whorley Jr. is the Executive Vice President, Head of Fiserv Education at Fiserv, Inc. where he oversees the company’s operations of student loan processing services with a particular focus on providing innovative solutions to clients.
Whorley’s career has included notable success in Fortune 500 businesses, start-up ventures, and non-profit organizations.
Whorley has deep experience in financial services with a particular emphasis on products and services related to higher education funding. For more than 25 years Whorley has held multiple leadership positions in the education funding-related businesses.
Whorley’s early career was spent in government where at age 25 he became one of the two youngest chiefs of staff on Capitol Hill. In 1994, Whorley won the Democratic nomination for Congress in Tennessee’s Fourth Congressional district.
In January of 2022, Whorley returned to government service when Governor Eric Holcomb appointed him to the Port of Indiana Commission. Whorley serves as a Commissioner while continuing his career at Fiserv.
