The Daily Journal reports that the R.B. Annis School of Engineering at the University of Indianapolis announced that each of its bachelor’s engineering programs is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. UIndy’s computer, electrical and general engineering programs earned accreditation in the commission’s most recent review; industrial and systems engineering, mechanical and software engineering programs were already accredited.

Tanuja Singh, president of the University of Indianapolis, said, “The ABET accreditation is a strong validation of the quality of our programs, faculty and staff.” Accreditation is retroactive to include all graduates and runs through Sept. 30, 2028. The next re-accreditation visit is scheduled for fall 2027. Read the full story at DailyJournal.
