Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of UIndy’s Writing Lab

The Writing Lab’s 40th Anniversary

Join UIndy’s Writing Lab to celebrate its 40-year commitment developing strong student writers.

The celebration, set to begin at 5 p.m., will include the presentation of the first tutor of the year award and an alumni panel discussion moderated by Writing Lab founder, Rick Marshall. Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is hosted by Rebecca McKanna, Interim Writing Lab Director and Associate Professor of English; and Dawn Hershberger, Associate Writing Lab Director.

Founded in 1983, the Writing Lab helps students become more confident writers. At any stage of the writing process, students can receive one-on-one peer consultation adapted to their individual needs.
