Join the Department of Art & Design for this semester’s Art & Design Lecture Series! Each series is dedicated to the life and work of a different artist.

Stephanie Carpenter is a letterpress printer, educator, and graphic designer. Since 2011, she has worked at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, currently as the Program Officer. At the museum, she teaches workshops, arranges programming, and helps preserve one of the world’s largest collections of wood type. Her evenings are spent creating art in the form of posters, installations, and artists’ books using hand-set type and non-traditional relief methods. Stephanie received a BA in Communication Arts and Graphic Design from the University of Saint Francis and an MFA in Graphic Design from Indiana University.
