Communiversity 2025: A Community-Wide Book Club-Style Read of To the Lighthouse

The University of Indianapolis is pleased to invite you to Communiversity 2025, a public book club that brings together readers from across the city and region. Each year, we choose a powerful work of literature to explore together, and this year, we turn our attention to Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse.

Whether you’re a longtime Woolf fan or new to her work, we welcome you to take part in thoughtful discussions, attend guest lectures, and enjoy community events that make reading a shared experience.

Lecture Dates: 

  • September 8, 2025 at 7pm; In Good Hall 105 or via Google Meet with Dr. Chad Martin (History)
  • November 17, 2025 at 7pm; Via Google Meet with Dr. Jonathan Evans (Philosophy & Religion)
  • October 27, 2025 at 7pm; In Ruth Lily Performance Hall. In conjunction with the Department of Music’s Faculty Artist Concert Series: Ronen Chamber Ensemble presents “Across the English Channel,” including Benjamin Britten’s Oboe Quartet, Pierre Sancan’s Flute Sonatina, and Vaughan Williams’s On Wenlock Edge, with guest tenor David Sadlier.
