UIndy’s student-run public relations agency, Top Dog Communication, has again taken top honors in the Public Relations Society of America’s Hoosier Chapter Pinnacle Awards.
Housed in the Department of Communication, Top Dog assembles student teams each semester to tackle real public relations projects for local nonprofit organizations.
At Tuesday’s awards ceremony, a team led by graduating senior Hannah Klare won Best of Show-Programs in the student division for its campaign for the International Association of Business Communicators.
Another team led by graduating senior Jennifer Meadows won Best of Show-Projects for its photo campaign on behalf of Volunteers of America, with photos shot by Comm major Kelbi Ervin.
Advised by Dr. Rebecca Gilliland, Distinguished Professor of Service Learning, Top Dog twice has been named the nation’s top firm by the Public Relations Student Society of America. Learn more about UIndy’s public relations concentration here.
