Phishing scam email alert

Several UIndy account holders have received emails reading, “… your University of Indianapolis account will be de-activated; if this is not you, please cancel request here”. If you have clicked on the link in the email and entered your credentials please change your password immediately. This and others like it are scam or “phishing” emails trying to obtain personal information. Simply trash it, and do not respond or click links within the email!

Please know that the University will NEVER ask you to confirm your username and password in an email.  If in doubt, you may check the validity of a message with the Help Desk at (317) 788-3318or help@uindy.edu.
