Indiana Pathways Summit: June 24
The Indiana Pathways Summit on June 24 promises an engaging, interactive day that will help educators, employers and community organizations prepare for upcoming changes in the state’s education and workforce landscape. The event, hosted by the Education Workforce Innovation Network (EWIN), will feature speakers from the following agencies or organizations:
• Indiana Department of Workforce Development
• Indiana Department of Education
• Office of Career Connections and Talent
• Skillful Indiana
• Indiana Talent Network
Panel discussions and breakouts will showcase regional innovations that include employer, K-12 and postsecondary education and community organization partnerships. Additional sessions will highlight successful career pathways — using data, collaboration and innovation — that promote student training, credential attainment and graduation while helping to fill Indiana’s skills gap.
EWIN is an initiative of the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL), a non-profit at the University of Indianapolis, which unites districts, schools, communities, universities and businesses to build a sense of urgency and form innovative collaborations for statewide educational and economic improvement.
