Pack the House is amping up the celebration in 2020
Join your fellow Greyhounds as we fill Nicoson Hall and “Pack the House” in support of the UIndy Women’s and Men’s basketball teams. Both teams are set to play the Truman State University Bulldogs for a conference matchup that you won’t want to miss. Women’s tip-off is at 1 p.m. and the men’s team tips off at 3 p.m. for a back-to-back showdown. In addition to cheering on the basketball teams, we will be celebrating all fall athletes for their record-breaking 2019 seasons.
The fun begins with a pre-game block party at 11:30 a.m. in Ruth Lilly Health & Fitness Center with tasty snacks, inflatables, life-size Jenga, face painting, and a guest appearance by UIndy’s Live Mascot, Grady.
Entry is free for University of Indianapolis students, faculty, staff and children under 12. Tickets cost $10 for fans 12+ and $5 for 65+ and veterans.
Billie Eilish Ticket Giveaway Sweepstakes – The winner of the Sweepstakes drawing shall receive two (2) tickets to attend the Billie Eilish concert on March 25, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Sweepstakes begins when doors open in advance of the UIndy women’s basketball game, which is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. EST on February 15, 2020. The winner shall be announced during the second half of the UIndy men’s basketball game on February 15, 2020. You must be present to win. Limit one (1) entry per person. Review the Sweepstakes rules for participation.
Tuition Half-Court Shot Sweepstakes – The Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 a.m. EST on February 7, 2020 and ends at 12:00 a.m. EST on February 13, 2020. To enter the Sweepstakes, eligible participants must send an email message to the following email address: universityevents@uindy.edu. Each participant must include in the email message his or her name, contact telephone number, and an acknowledgment that they have read and agreed to the Tuition Half-Court Shot Sweepstakes official rules, which are posted at the following web address: uindy.edu/pthsweepstakes/
The individual whose name is drawn shall have two (2) hours to respond to notification by UIndy that he/she has been selected through the random drawing to participate in the half-court shot. The individual must participate in eligibility verification and must agree to attend the UIndy men’s basketball game at 3:00 p.m on February 15, 2020, to participate in the half-court shot attempt. Any participant who is randomly selected in the Sweepstakes drawing who successfully shoots and makes a half-court shot into and completely through the basketball goal will receive a tuition scholarship for up to one semester of one academic year (fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year only). All eligible participants must review the Sweepstakes rules for participation at the following site: Limit one (1) entry per eligible person. No more than one (1) prize will be awarded.
A post-game celebration at UIndy’s neighbor, Books & Brews at 3308 Shelby St., will follow, featuring live band Shift Bit Duo.
