Join the Department of Art & Design for this semester’s Art & Design Lecture Series! Each series is dedicated to the life and work of a different artist.
Over her twenty-year career, Robin has focused her work on creating and promoting future-focused museum practices and ethical stewardship. As the Manager of Curatorial Affairs at the Indianapolis Museum of Art she hones collecting and curatorial practices through acquisition and deaccession planning, directs international repatriation efforts, and collaborates on museum policy revisions and ethical collecting goals. She has presented on these topics internationally and contributed to the 2021 publication Collecting and Deaccessioning in a Post-Pandemic World.
Robin has served as the Deaccession Chair for the Collections Stewardship Professional Network of the American Alliance of Museums, is a graduate of Purdue University, and holds a master’s degree from George Washington University.
