EXPLORING EARLY MUSIC – (June 8-12)

University of Indianapolis presents “Exploring Early Music” with the chamber ensemble Echoing Air. This annual summer workshop is for high school and college singers and instrumentalists with an interest in learning more about music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The camp offers a chamber music experience singing with Baroque Instruments as well as daily lessons and artistic coaching on early repertoire. Students will have the opportunity to sing with a harpsichord, recorders, viola da gamba, and lute. The musicians will also perform in concert with Echoing Air at the end of the session.
