Molto Piano: Anniversaries and Originals

UIndy Faculty piano ensemble Molto Piano performs duets, duos, and trios by composers with significant anniversaries in 2024. Works by Carl Reinecke, Gabriel Faure, and Amy Beach for two players as well as six-hand pieces by Sergei Rachmaninoff will be featured in the concert. The program concludes with the world premiere of Manuel del Aguila’s Pianola Rebelde for three pianos, which imitates the sound of a player piano which develops a life of its own.
