NAMI 101: Building Hope Through Lived Experience

This presentation explores the power of lived experience as a tool for empathy and change. We’ll look at how the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) was created by families sharing their experiences with mental health, and how it has grown into the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. Attendees will also learn about NAMI programs relevant to students, and hear directly from a panel of alumni, staff, and NAMI volunteers who will share how telling their story has made an impact.
Students will have the option of signing in via a QR code or sign-in sheet.
