If you’ve ever attended a catered event at UIndy, you’ve probably seen Azhar Khan executing his duties with cheerful professionalism. He’s worked at the University for 19 years. As assistant director of catering, he makes sure guests don’t go home hungry! Azhar covers all the big events and makes respect and kindness a priority. “Being able to serve high profile people, and assisting with all student events.”

“Every university requires great dedication.”

3. What do you do when you’re not working at UIndy?
“Spend time with the family, gardening. I love football and basketball! I’m a huge Pacers and Colts fan.”

4. What’s the best vacation you ever took, and why?
“New York. Loved the big city! I liked the New York-style pizza and all the different restaurants.”

“Lasagna and Italian food!”
